The RiverRoots Music Series Presented by Kindred Folk Society is back! The Kindred Folk Society is committed to keeping the RiverRoots vibe alive by continuing to bring original Roots music to Madison, Indiana! Our April installment features Joe’s Truck Stop with special guests Charlsee and Cam.

Joe’s Truck Stop

From a ridge in the Ohio River Valley, on a front porch where Kentucky’s visible through the winter’s bare trees, Joe Truck Stop conspires over a smoking blend of Bluegrass, Honky Tonk, Western Swing, and whatever else finds itself inhaled and manifested by way of a wood box and steel wire...Years of digesting so much of the Country Blues lexicon and traveling the country learning the numerous styles of fiddlers, writers, and travelers alike has led to the original music that comes by way of Joe’s Truck Stop. Their new record, Yonderings, is available now.

Charlsee and Cam

Charlsee & Cam offer an eclectic mix of americana, rock, and indie music. Charlsee and Cameron Gandee first formed the band in 2015 where they began their songwriting journey. The duo provides a powerful collaboration of heartland charm and southern raised rock and soul. Together they’ve encapsulated the universal emotions of the human experience. Offering a unique sound and passion that reson Cam’s full studio album Illuminate Me is set to release Spring 2024.
